Our general program is a three- full day shooting one. Depending on our arrival time, you’ll have two half and two full days. So you should count on at least 4 days to stay with us.

Doves hunt

​

Generally our itinerary starts at 8 am after breakfast. We either walk or drive to the hunting field untill noon 12 pm.when we return to the estancia for lunch.

Afternoon hunt starts around 3 pm almost until dusk. 7 pm. This schedule will vary depending on the season and time of the year. (For example leaving earlier in the morning and later at siesta time during summer time due to light and weather conditions)

Each hunter is provided with an assistant who helps with shells and keeps the area around the shooter clean, serves as a loader if requested and, of course, picks up shot doves. Many of the birds are retrieved immediately after the hunters leave the area, so as to not interfere with the shooting. Our head guide will always be around supervising all the activities and making sure you enjoy and unforgettable hunting day.

The Partridge or “Perdiz” hunting

 

The upland hunting is done over pointers dogs and serves as a complement of our dove hunts. The “perdiz” is similar to the quail, though this bird is larger and is found in singles and sometimes in pairs, instead of coveys.

​

The season for Perdiz runs from May till August. You will have the chance to hunt not only the small “perdiz” (a typical bird species in Argentina and Uruguay) but also the larger and faster “montaraz” known for its excellent table fare.

​

These partridges are hunted in an area especially saved for that purpose, and one can expect to shoot between five and ten in half a day’s hunt.
